I recently made some web comic discoveries I want to share:

Stuffed by Extended Play is the comic of a little girl whose young imagination brings her stuffed animal companions to life.  The many adventures this small child gets into with her stuffed animal kingdom fills a void I didn’t know I had since Calvin and Hobbes ended.  Join Dragon, Unicorn and friends as they blast off to space and medieval castles.  Also maybe a lemonade stand.

Crabgrass by Tauhid Bondia takes me back to my own childhood.  Memories of riding bikes through the neighborhood with my best friend who only lived a couple houses away.  Everything from summer vacation, getting grounded, to school bullies and ice cream trucks is here.  Kevin and Miles remind me of the adventures and joy of childhood.  I can’t wait to see their next adventure and the inevitable grounding that comes after it.

When I find more comics and artists that motivate and inspire Dragin I’ll share them in future posts.  Now I have to go draw a cat tower and look up reference material to Braveheart for no related reason.
