I can’t remember with which comic I decided to begin making changes. I know Dragon rights is one of the first I experimented on. A different approach to telling punchlines was just what the strip needed. The longer height also allowed for more impact in each panel. I’ll always have strips that move back and forth between 3 to 4 panels with the occasional 2 panel or even one shot depending on the joke, but I’m happy with the direction they began taking. This blog entry is a bit different from the recent ones but I just wanted to share the ideas behind the changes as I slowly go through the back log before creating new content which I can’t wait to talk about in the future.
